Star Power sale in Dallas

Star Power in Dallas is having a sale this weekend, March 2-4. http://www.star-power.com/hometheate...ailer-Full.pdf

Sadly, they don't list the exact models, just the brands. I think the Zenith 60" is a Z60PV220, and is going for $999.

I'm planning on buying my first plasma this weekend, and not sure if I should go with the 55" ST30 at target (my target has plenty left) for $899 or get the 51" Samsung for $528.

Anything pop out for you more experienced people?

We sound like we are in the same boat...

I am looking HARD at the 55ST30.

I am wondering though... why are you looking for plasma. Cost?

Cost and picture quality. Before I started researching for my next purchase, I still had the old idea that plasmas were terrible; short life span, burn in etc. I've been doing a lot of research and, from what I can tell, plasmas are the best bang for the buck.

I know...that is what I keep hearing too... I am just afraid I will be that ONE guy that gets a crappy plasma! haha

...and the LEDs look so good in the store (I know, I know)

I think I am going to hold out for Amazon to bring their price down to around this level so I can get 5% chase, and the better shipiing/deliver/set-up....also a better price guarantee.... etc.

I hope my gamble pays off. In the mean time I am going to try to find a buddy with a plasma to see if I can see a better one than I have in Best Buy
