there were guys in 2011 who had panels fail on model year 2009's Sharp's & they were given New 2012's .
the above is the reason to BUY the extended warranty from Sharp no 2nd party warranty company will do the above .

I called back to tell them I will wait but exchange department is closed for the weekend and I'll need to call them Monday. So far I have not gotten any paper work on this. I sent in photos Monday evening and when I called today to check status service rep said exchange was approved then he transferred me to the exchange department which gave me information about none being in stock. I will request email confirmation of this exchange on Monday when I talked to them.
