Oh, football can look stunning on this TV after calibration! Unless you hate the motion handling, I see no reason at all why you wouldn't be pleased.
I don't want to quote numbers here, but I have flat rate pricing listed on my webpage.
To elaborate: I open up 2 new picture modes that are not there presently, called ISF-Day and ISF-Night. They are added to the list of picture modes you select. The calibration settings are grayed out, so they can't be messed up. The Day mode is made bright, for maximum punch and impact with sports and regular TV viewing in moderate to bright lighting.
The Night mode is more of a reference accuracy studio monitor type of tuning, which would be well suited to movie watching in dark environments.
