First, thank you this has been SOOO helpful in getting me started. I just bought this TV yesterday (I know you have the 70" I have the 60"), I think for the price it is the best value on the market. I would defy anyone to find a better TV at the price tag of $2k. That being said, it obviously needs a lot of calibration before it is optimal and your settings outline gave me a great start!
Second, I must disclose that I have not yet gotten my high speed HDMI cable because once my Best Buy points hit from the TV purchase it will be $40. So, I understand it is really not fair for me to take a brand new TV, not be using the most ideal HDMI cable and still trying to calibrate it but I did. I wanted to share with you the small twist I put on your settings to see if you could try them and tell me if it is better or worse. You are right, your settings were just a touch vivid to me but I don't have the eye or the knowledge for these things so I wanted your opinion.
Oh yes have you tried the Sharp Aquos Advantage Registration where they say they help you calibrate the TV? I am not sure what I think or if I am anxious to try it or not, but registering extends your warranty so why not right?
So, without further adieu... I used all or your settings EXCEPT these small differences, what are your thoughts?
Gamut EXPANDED (I am on the fence about this but this is what quattron is all about right?)

Thanks, I am looking forward to learning from your knowledge to get the most out of this TV!
