For those interested, the new firmware update didn't seem to help with the reboots.
Also, for the guys with reboot issues that can get into the service menu, TV repair guy came by last week to check my TV's service menu. Looks like the service menu keeps a record of the last 24 power downs for the TV and tells you what caused it to turn off. Interestingly, this also records the reboots, although the status/error message was cryptic enough that we didn't have a clue what was causing it. TV repair guy said LG reps was leaning towards a bad remote receiver

Sorry it didn't work for you. I am 16 days out since the power failure at my house and still no reboots. There must be a couple of different reasons for this problem. Please keep us updated as I don't have a whole lot of confidence in this thing staying reboot free.




























Also, blacks appear a little darker with a lot less "clouding" using the same settings as the old set.
