My LG TV shows the 2d to 3d app as ON even when watching native 3D content :
I'm wondering if the TV is showing native content but at the same time applying the conversion algorithm to it. Sometimes I can clearly see the layers but sometimes the image appears incredibly flat like in a 2D-3D conversion. I checked the same scenes on my projector and I can clearly see the layers. (Example - Bilbo jumping over the fence clearly has layers but it appears completely flat on my TV with everything at the same depth plane and a weird warping effect.)
Also, I'm noticing floating windows even on titles like Prometheus. They come and go but sometimes change in size during the same scene.
Pressing the 3D button turns off the 3D and pressing it again turns it back on. I don't the menu to choose the type of 3D (over/under, side by side, 2D to 3D, etc). But if I'm watching 2D content on my satellite/cable and I press the 3D button, I get the 3D menu.
I tried every setting and nothing is fixing this. I called LG and the service engineer said there was nothing wrong with the TV and that everything I'm describing is 'normal' :banghead: .
