Mac mini 2007 - Yamaha receiver - Philips tv. No sound

Hi there.
I just bought a new receiver and tv but can not get the audio working.
My set up is a mac mini from 2007 connected with dvi - hdmi and optical to a Yamaha RX-V371 and that is connected with hdmi to a Philips 46PFL6606H.
I have set the audio input for hdmi 4 to av 4 which is where i connected the optical sound.
I had my mac connected to a older denon before whit sound working.
Tried a new cable, no luck.
Connected my MacBook Pro with thunderbolt to the Yamaha with hdmi and that works.
I do not know what else to try. I really like my mini but this is frustrating.

It is on "Digital out" but on the Yamaha it says PCM on signal info.
I tried to change to HDMI 1 and AV 1 but no luck there either.
I also tried to go with analog audio but that did not work either.

Did some more testing, this time I connected a speaker to my Yamaha and that seems to work, so it seems to be the output to the tv that is not working.
