Do you get the manufacturers warranty through them? If so I would say go for it. You may get lucky and stumble into a wonderful deal somewhere down the line but that's not guaranteed. How long do you want to put off your new purchase to save a couple more bucks?
I bought my TV a few weeks ago. I've seen a couple deals that were slightly better and still search for them (I got the PN59D7000 for $100 less than what you posted for the D8000 which is why I read this), but I haven't seen anything that made me regret what I did. Just buy it and get through the break in period. Then you'll just be happy you have your TV. Someday you may even stop looking for better deals.
It made me happy to see my local Fry's trying to dump C7000's for almost the same price as what I paid. It will make me sad again when I see the 2012's. Just get the TV.
