Insignia 46" LED HDTV (NS-46E790A12) Calibration Help

Hello.

I just recently bought an Insignia 46" LED 1080p HDTV (model: NS-46E790A12) and I was wondering what the optimal setting is for picture calibration?

The TV is in a dim to moderately lit room and gets very little (if any) to no sun at all. The TV is primarily used for watching movies and playing video games with the occasional sports viewing here and there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello. You aren't likely to get much help here, since your effort for info would be better placed in the LCD Display forum threads. You can copy your original text and paste it to a new thread there . .. . and delete this one.

I bought my oldest daughter an Insignia 42" LCD 2 years ago and have yet to find any way to get into a service menu that would allow for better calibration. It is reported that Insignia uses some sort of special remote control. I did come up with some better settings, but they may not likely work for your TV.

If you can, purchase a Disney WOW disc ($30) or download and use the AVS HD709 disc available here for free. They will help you get the most out of your TV. Here is a link for the free 709 media assisted setting disc.
