The new AMD 7 series have this capability.

Last, but certainly not least on the display technologies front is AMD's new feature for Southern Islands, Discrete Digital Multi-Point Audio (DDMA). It's a mouthful of a name but the concept is rather simple: it's the next step in audio output from a video card. Video cards have been able to output audio for a few years now via HDMI, and more recently DisplayPort gained the ability. However GPUs have been limited to streaming audio to a single device, be it a monitor, TV, or receiver. With DDMA GPUs can send audio to multiple devices, and AMD is looking at how to put that ability to work.

They all seem to have it but it's a subcategory of EyeFinity.

Search had nothing. Anyone attempted to use this function? And would it be suited to htpc?
As I'm on the cusp of buying a 7770 or 7750 just for this function. Thanks

That's a better deal. Got the same at Newegg. Only difference is stated PS requirement. Maybe Tiger is referencing sli. 450 listed at Sapphire.

Gonna give it a workout, hopefully Wednesday.
Thanks

PS, Thanks for that Visa link.

Can anybody get multi audio out with DDMA? I have Sapphire HD7770 and in sound panel there are 6 AMD Digital out listed but can use only one of them.
I use mini DP to DP for monitor Dell U2311, and tried to configure hdmi for plasma Panasonic 50ST50 and mini DP to hdmi for avr Onkyo 706.
I get sound from mini DP to hdmi to avr only when hdmi out isn't connected. Other 5 dig outs in sound panel are always not plugged.
Is this software AMD problem or other devices must have DP audio connector as well?
Thx...
