Hi, i really need some help please in deciding between the Marantz sr7005 & the Yamaha RXA1010, My original choice was the Marantz sr7005 (now it has dropped to half price), however i have been looking again, & have discovered the Yamaha RXA1010 (which is slightly more expensive, Both of these have got excellent reviews, so therefore i am looking for your help to decide which one you would go for & why. I am looking for quality sound over features (if that makes sense), as you will have more knowledge on this matter than me, please help. The speaker set up will be the Focal domes,
Thank you Mark.

Hi, I also got SR7005 last year, and last week I bought a SONY BDP-S580 to play SACD, but I found that SR7005 can't decode DSD which SR7001, a very older model can do this. Can you confirm if SR7005 can't decode DSD?

^^
As was also done with the Denon 331X AVRs, so to the capability for the current Marantz AVRs to process bitstreamed DSD was removed; however, you can pass it as multi channel PCM over HDMI.

If it's important, the yamaha RX-A series will decode DSD direct to analogue in Pure Direct mode.
