Buyers remorse after buying 2011 Samsung?

After all the initial impressions coming out about the 2012 Panasonic plasma lines, is it normal for me to have buyers remorse about my 59D7000?

It seems like most are starting to think that Panasonic may have stepped up their plasma PQ considerably this year.

It's normal for me to have buyers remorse when I get a unit home .. because by then, I discover something I think may be better ..

This years Panasonic Plasma's will be slightly better (at its best) than last years Panasonic's plasma. ''Stepped up considerably'' is something of the past, not gonna happen.

Just wait a few months and you will see posts like this _>

Panasonic has for some time had arguably the best overall picture quality. That said, I hardly think any incremental improvement is worth having "buyer's remorse" over. And the PQ of a Samsung seems comparable to me.

You can chase the dragon if you want, it's your money, but the 2013 models will be better than the 2012s. Personally, I don't find the idea of buying a new giant TV every year to be appealing, especially since I live on the 2nd floor of my building. But YMMV.

What's wrong with the D7000? By all accounts that's a pretty good set.

Try to quit worrying! Enjoy your set. Both Panasonic and Samsung make a fantastic plasma set. Professional reviewers will be the only ones that can tell any difference between brands. Then with them , only with high tech gear!
I wish we could do an experiment and swap frames with panny and sammys and send them to cnet. I think that would be fun!
I always like expensive electronic gadgets such as tvs to be atleast 6months to a year old before I make an informed purchase. I don't want to be an un-paid pilot for a big corporation. Again, enjoy you set.! You've got a good one!

Nothing is wrong with it and it blew me away when I first got it. Aside from a slight buzz that seems to decrease after it's been on for a little while it seems pretty perfect.

Only thing I'm not sure about is exactly how dark the blacks are supposed to look when properly adjusted. I guess I might try to pony up the money to get it calibrated eventually just so I can see what a proper set should look like.

Either way, it was just sounding like the 2012 Panasonics might be a huge improvement but I guess that's probably not going to be the case.
