Samsung un55d6900 remote problem

I've had the tv for a couple weeks now, and I love it. Pictures nice, 3D's nice. I didnt need the internet component because I have a computer and tablet, etc. But I had nithing else to do that night, so I thought I'd mess around with the Smarthub internet feature...checked out the apps and got You Tube. Then all of a sudden, out of the blue, the remote just stopped working...half the remote. One side of the remote controls the tv-that side still works. Its the bottom side, with the qwerty keyboard, that just died...I've tried the reset a million times, but it wont respond. I got the reset instructions fron other un55d owners with the SAME exact problem.

I called Samsung, and all they could do was...repeat the very sane reset procedure tgat already failed me 900 times . I gotta call them back with the serial nunber, bla, bla, bla. I'm gonna have to return it for survice...got the home theatre and everything hooked up...now I'm gonna have to return it, and I'm looking at several weeks before everthing is back together again.

I dont wanna go through all this ...is there some last ditch fix I can do? The TV side of the remote works, so I'm thinking it cant be a huge problem.

AW...I thought it was just a problem with the keyboard side of the remote. I went to watch a 3D program, and now the glasses wont connect with the TV. I have a bigger problem than I had first realized. Now I'm definately going to have to send it back . Talk about a punch in the gut. I liked the TV, so I'll try another one.

Geek Squad is coming over to work on it, so theres hope . I LOVE the TV! Its huge, pictures great, XBOX looks great on it, the 6th or 7th internet device, its easy to operate...return ans exchange it?! I dont wanna go through all that JUST because of a remote/glasses connectivity issue.

I got an e-mail from Geek Squad, its the sensor, unplug everything for a couple seconds, plug it back and it should reset. I get that magic magic solution from my ISP all the time, so at first I was skeptical . I turned entire surge protector off. I turned it back on, and I tried the qwerty side of the remote and got the "need pairing" message again. I'm like, pairing failure number 704...then all of a sudden a message came on the little digital display, "PAIRED"! Phew, IT WORKED! I can cancel the Geek Squad visit! This TV's awesome, its HUGE, its just like I'm in the theater, 3D and everything but the popcorn! There was NO way this TV was getting returned !
