Please explain what you mean by "serious use." (higher resolutions tend to require larger screens with Android)

Now I love my iphone & ipads please dont get me wrong however I am finding for phone use I am now 99% using the S2. The ipad is still my favorite 7-10 in form factor device but that has mostly to do with battery life.
But you asked for my experience so:
Web browsing - True Web Site Pages (not mobile specific ones) can be browsed and navigated much easier on a 4.5" screen.
PDFs. Race Results are often long and wide lists that are certainly easier to read on the larger screen.
RDP - In emergency times I have used it to put out a fire and was thankful for the extra real estate.
E-Reading. Obviously more real estate helps.
Text Chat lists - Larger screen helps but I also love the colored left/right indented conversations.
Widgets - Stocks/weather/twitter all updated all the time right on my home screen. Secondary honeycomb screens for quick volume profiles/active Apps/Battery/Calendar/appointment. Always there always updated nothing to load.
SWYPE - Bigger screen helps my accuracy and eyes. No better way to type (Even beats speech to text and siri).
Weight - Less than my Iphone.
Rounded corners - more comfortable to hold.
Thinness - Less than my iphone.
Portability - Fits better in my pants pocket.
USB mode Connectivity
Micro SD Card Expansion - Was on Vaca and shot some cool rescue video and it consumed my storage. "No worries" popped out the MicroSD and plugged in another - no worries ( vaca was in Australia and thats how they respond to everything).
Update: Exchange ActiveSync Lists - I get 3-5 hundred emails a day the list is easier to read on my s2 vs iphone. I suspect that's mostly due to larger screen.
