Need to replace a receiver to replace Yamaha

My old Yamaha HTR-5460 just died today and I will be taking my Yamaha RX-V2400 A/V Receiver in put in the place of HTR-5460 and just wondering what would be a good replacement for the RX-V2400. I was looking @ the Denon AVR-2112ci, AVR2312CI, AVR3312CI. I have last years Denon AVR-3311CI but not sure I would to spend that much money on another amp for leaning toward the AVR-2112ci. I would like to keep it under $1000.

If you already have last year's Denon 3311CI, then sounds like you already have a good replacement for the RX-V2400. Did I misunderstand your question?
