Maybe a long shot, but I'll ask.

Is there a way to get my pro amps to turn on and off when my avr turns on and off? Doesn't hurt to ask.

It wouldn't hurt to be a little bit more detailed with your question. Make and model numbers

Yes. There are power strips that do this.

1121, xls 1500, MA 2050. I didn't think make and model would be neccessary; I wasn't trying to be a jerk.

@Archaea - would you happen to know what power strip will do this.

here's an example:
http://www.amazon.com/Smart-Strip-LC...1341677&sr=8-1

They are usually called auto-sensing power strips.

If you ever find a 20 volt one - let me know. I've only ever seen 15amp models -- which wouldn't be a problem for the amps you listed, but for heavy subwoofer duty some of us have 20amp requirements --- so I still have to push the darn button on my crown xls-5000.

Hey man, Thanks

BTW, nice HT room you got there. I'm hoping my next place will have a dedicated HT room.

Before deciding on the Triton3, I auditioned the Aon 3s and Triton 2s. I originally came from a Mirage OMD/Nanosat speaker system.

In the middle of that range, was the triton 3. This was my first upgrade to Floor standing speaker and having a built in power sub was a major plus to me.

Just got them yesterday and I am in the process of setting them up now, so stay tuned.

Welcome to the forum. First post and already someone is hitting you up for info.

Congrats on the purchase. What model OMDs did you have?

Looking forward to hearing your impressions, not only from the in-room perspective but also as compared to the Twos when/if you auditioned. The Triton Threes seem the perfect choice for someone like me who's looking hard at the Twos but lack a large room. Could you please include a room description when you post back?

Thanks,
Paul
