Had first posted this message in the owners thread but fearfull it would sink away.

I just had my screen replaced but this one seems even worse than the last one. What do you guys think?

No this isn't callibrated but with max backlight to make sure the clouds are visible.

Another thing, this screen seems to be noticeably "slower", is this possible? I have a feeling the response time is causing moving images to be blurry.

what make and model is it (the bezel and stand make it look like a Samsung edge-lit LED-LCD)? what does a black screen look like at 50% backlight?
what kind of LCD panel/version does it have?

Right, sorry about that, forgot to mention. It's the Samsung 55D7000LSXZF Version 2. It's edge lit.

what's the code under "Version" on the sticker on the right side of the TV? it should be two letters and two numbers, such as "SQ01"

I don't see it, only the serial number. Do you want me to take a picture of this sticker?

EDIT: Did it anyway, many thanks for the help

maybe on the rear of the TV?

it does say 02 on the pic you uploaded

in any case, I would not be happy with a high-end model like that with such poor uniformity (though many edge-lit Samsungs are like this or worse, sometimes much worse AND they don't make any full-array sets anymore since the B8500)

I'd return it if possible.

That doesn't look very good to me.
