See my post a bit up. I can't figure out why the Comcast box will show a picture if plugged directly into the Darblet, but not if it goes through the receiver? After all, there's two other HDMI sources and a (cross converted Component to HDMI) source that come out the same HDMI output and work fine with the Darblet.

Jive Turkey,
I saw your post and was dissappointed to see that you are having problems. As I recall, The MOT DCH boxes were some of the first HDMI set top boxes and from what I'm seeing, it appears to be some sort of timing issue between the two devices.
One thing you can try is to access the service menu in your comcast box by hitting the menu button on your comcast remote while the box is off. Once in service mode, find the color space choices and select RGB and retry. Unfortunately, Comcast in my area resets my box to a default configuration every time the box is power cycled, so I couldn't confirm this color space test. Maybe you will have better luck. Let us know what you find out.
For me, I'm going to find the MOT model number that will work and get Comcast to swap it out. Hopefully AVS members will come to rescue with some model numbers.

All the McIntosh components are freaking gorgeous. (need a couple bow down icons like on my Lakers forum)
