@ noah katz So what your saying is that because my post is not up to your grammatical standards I do not deserve to be acknowledged. Wow that is messed up. You know what I would have never treated you like that. under any circumstances. Just because you are not new here does not give you the right to dismiss someone. Thanks for the disrespect I appreciate it
Tom, welcome to the Forum.
It's unfortunate that, as a new member, you chose to take Noah's suggestion as an insult. That's not the way I interpreted it at all. And yes, I meant "chose to". You have a choice in how you react to commentary from others here. If you chose to take everything in the worst-possible way, when there are equally valid interpretations that you could
take as helpful, then your time here will not be nearly as pleasant. For either you, or the rest of us.
In the friendliest possible way, I'd like to also suggest that you add line breaks (create paragraphs) when entering large blocks of text. They're just really hard to read in one massive block, without them. It has nothing at all to do with "grammatical standards
", nor did Noah refer to that aspect in any way. That was your own invention. He was pretty explicit in his suggestion to add some paragraph breaks. The only difference between him and myself is that he was kind enough to take the time to offer you a suggestion, which I did not. I simply gave up a couple lines in (and I suspect that Noah and I were not the only ones). He's been here a while, and was only offering a newbie a helpful tip. And you repaid him badly, IMO.
Now feel free to lambast me as well, if you must, but that will not earn you the respect which you feel you are due.
[BTW, even now, you can still increase the readability of your previous monolith of text, by simply clicking the Edit pencil, positioning your cursor in a few well-selected spots 3 or 4 times, and hitting enter. It would take you less
time than it did for you to construct your angry retort. If you want the time you take to create your contributions to be appreciated, it's worth taking just a bit more time to format them in a way that be scanned and parsed, without the eye getting lost.]
