RE: Using one Darbee Darblet on more than on TV. This is the Email I sent this morning to Adam and Larry of Darbeevision - - if this works I'll be a very happy camper!
As I said before - - they have been very receptive to Emails and helping customers - IMHO.
Adam & Larry,
Here is what I am trying to accomplish - - basically, using the Darblet with both my TV’s - - a Samsung 65” LCD/LED and my BenQ W1080ST projector. All running through my Pioneer SC65 Receiver.
Here is how I think it should work - -
HDMI 1 (Out) - (from my Pioneer SC65 receiver (which has my satellite, two bluray players and media player connected)
TO (In) – Darbee Darblet “In”
FROM (Out) – Darbee Darblet “Out”
TO (In) – 2 Way HDMI Switcher (not Splitter – one HDMI in to the Switcher)
To (Out) - Display Device - - switcher has two HDMI outputs - - one HDMI to Samsung TV and the other to the BenQ Projector.
This way - - the Darblet will always be on - - no matter what I watch AND it will simplify things since HDMI 1 will be the only invocation with my receiver.
When I use my Harmony remote - - it turns on the TV (either Samsung or BenQ) and since there is only HDMI 1 from the receiver - - everything should work properly with my Darblet.
