tried again and I got it to work between the Sony 5100 & my Denon receiver. Unfortunately I can't get it to work from the receiver to projector which is really where i'd like it to work since I can get the benefit of all 3 of my sources.

PM me if you are interested.

It has four selectable settings which adjust the equalization and four additional settings which adjust the equalization and correct the timing. All done with one box at the display end of a long cable. I am using these in some installations and in my HT which you are familiar with. However, if a signal is encrypted with HDMI 2.2 as out of the Sony server, I can't get it to work. I will shortly be trying a Kordz extender which has boxes and short HDMI dongles on each box at each end of the HDMI run and is plug and play with no adjustments possible. I have been told that it will pass HDCP 2.2. What projector have you switched to?
Dave I'll PM you. Should it work for me on my Denon receiver going to the projector even though I'm running a sony dvd player? Also, can I put this at the receiver end in the media closet or do I have to hook this up where the projector is?

Many people have had issues with cables shorter than 6 feet. Hope something I've said here helps. Have a safe and Merry Christmas.
Yup, definitely right direction. I tried 2 different cables, at 6ft & 10 ft.

Check your Darbee's power supply. If its 9vdc, it is the wrong supply. Should be 5vdc. I had this problem & waisted a lot of time only to find out through the vendors testing, and his contact with Darbee the supply was wrong!
Very frustrating. Another indicator is the Blue LED will stay on all the time, even with no cables connected. It should only be on when video is present at the input.
Hope this helps ...
it's 5vdc. My blue light is on, and the green flashes.
I think though ultimately I have hdmi length issues since even without the darbee after rehooking cables up I wont get a picture without restarting lots of things and luckily eventually a picture shows up after I plug and unplug the projector and the receiver..
wondering if the lumagen, or monoprice http://www.monoprice.com/Product/?c_id=109&cp_id=10110&cs_id=1011012&p_id=8120&seq=1&format=4#feedback
or gefen product would work?
it'd be cheaper than getting a second darbee or even 3rd. I want my roku, boxee and eventually HTPC to get the benefit of it, so would like to go from receiver to darbee to projector.
