First off I wanted to thank everyone here for their input's and teaching me a little something about speaker building. This is my first project. 22" cube, double baffle, 4.3 ft^3 cube with a Dayton 15" HF. The final box didn't turn out as good as I would have liked. Only having a borrowed jigsaw, some cargo straps and some sand paper and files, I think it turned out pretty decent.
Crown XLS 1000 and the driver

3/4" MDF

Gluing of the box

Front baffle glued on and painted

Black ash vinyl applied. Magnetic grill guides are behind the vinyl

Dry fit of the sub woofer

The driver hole is a little uneven due to having to use a file to round it out further. I will also be drilling the holes for the driver later this week. There are also a few defects in the vinyl having not sanded perfectly (the vinyl shows every little defect on your wood) but all in all turned out pretty well. I haven't had a chance to listen to it. My amp was DOA and the cable I got from monoprice won't mate with the NL2MP connector I had bought so I had to order the 4 pole and ordered another amp while this one is being sent back to Amazon. Both should be here in a week.
Still working on the best way to stretch the fabric on the grill using partsexpress grill guides.
I figure once I get stationed back in the states I'll invest some money in power tools and redo the box.
Once again thanks everyone for all your help. Once I get the grill finished I will post up some pictures. Of the final product.
