well I don't have the door up, so that's a big leak lol
but I can tell, even after the door, my soundproofing effort is not nearly what I expected

Unfortunately you have shown a very good example of doing it only Halfway.
I guess. I didn't think clips and channels were that big of a step. Too late now, but I guess I'll have to see another theater with clips and channels to see how much I missed out on.
I always thought clips and channels were complimentary with green glue and mass being the workhorses.
