Thanks, man. I try but as I know you know, there are a lot of great people here and that definitely helps (I'm leery about Blade though haha). I can't stop the idea of a new thread even though my vote is still against it for the reasons I've stated a few times now, but I would say that if someone decides to create on, a disclaimer should go at the top of that thread that the thread is meant for settings and only setting - not discussion, so that the settings don't get lost, with a link directing people here for discussion. Otherwise, over time, settings will get lost there just as they would here, but with the downside of having two threads to search through. Meaning, in the long run, there would be no point to a separate thread except to muddy the waters. Even if that were done though, I still don't agree it's needed.

Just saw on Samsung's website that you must have something else, a Klipsch center channel perhaps?

I also found this while I was there: *Soundshare available on DA-E670/E750/E751 audio docks and with Samsung LED series tv ES6500 and up and E550 Plasma series tv and up.

Thanks man.. No, I don't have that, but I did buy the Samsung DA E651 for $200 at Costco and returned it. It linked up really good, but I kept getting static and the sound wasn't that great. Derik on here has one though and likes his. Different from the one I had

Been reading from post one since last spring and ever so infrequently (like really infrequently, like almost never) commenting.

Love the thread though. A daily read.

So will throw in a shout out to awesome wives and this set. Keep in mind my wife couldn't care less about TVs, she will watch whatever. So last spring I initially bought the 55es8000. It's thin bezel made it fit in the exact spot as our old 50" dlp. Wife comes home. Sees new set. She says "That's it? It looks like the other one. (she meant space wise...). Wasn't it supposed to be a bigger TV?" Yes ma'am! Exchanged next day for 60". She comes home. Says "now THAT'S better!"

Eventually, they all come around...

Do you have wall space on the right of your mantel?

I would modify to a lower profile mantel, that thing looks like its over 1ft thick, just cut it straight down the middle horizontally, should drop it 1/2 a foot.

LOL! Its so funny or hear the woman wanting the bigger ones, cause at first, you would think they care more about what the house looks like and won't want some big TV, but then once you get it, you realize they are all for it! Lol! The bigger, the better, especially in woman's eyes! cool.gif

Yea, I agree.. Does your mantel look that high and thick when your sitting down watching TV, or is that just from the picture?

My wife did and said the exact same thing. Unfortunately, the 60" will not fit on my mount.

Can you get the Samsung wall mount? That's what I have for both sets. It goes on the wall like your hanging a picture.

OR we could have everyone break off and create a new thread for every single calibration done. And while at it, we can go ahead and create the 2014, 2015, & 2016 Evo Kit threads & G8000, H8000, and I8000 LED threads and open them up to speculation. That way we would eventually just take over AVS completely

Thanks for the links, could be usefule elsewhere, but remember, this is the cantilever mount for when the wife is in the kitchen (She'll probably be not too keen on cutting that mantle down tongue.gif, oh well)

Exactly! That's the way to do it. Remember, the F8000 is coming out soon, so people are going to come here for info and not want to juggle between 3 different threads. Its just ridiculous! Kinds of like the Evo kit thread.. Its too much going back and fourth

If you have a wife my guess is she won't dig cutting that mantle down a foot. It will eliminate the stylish wings at the top.
