LG LM7600 or LM8600 ... Dualcore worth it?

Hi all,

I've been in the market for a new TV since this Jan. I was eyeing 47LW6500 but it started dwindling from the market recently ... I decided to wait for the 2012 models.

I know LM7600 is very similar to LW6500 ... is the only difference between LM7600 and LM8600 the dual-core processor ?

Is it worth it to wait for LM8600? Also, if anyone knows, what is the expected starting price point for LM8600?

i was actually looking at both the 55LM8600/7600. Amazon seems to have listed the LM7600 at 2499.99 while the LM8600 is listed at 2699.99.

So is the dual core really worth it?

I dont know about LG, but the new Samsungs 2012 models that have dual cores does es refresh rate of 960hz. Its like 480 hz on 3D per left and 480 hz per right image while 2011, and 2010 models are 240hz (120hz left / 120hz right). So its 4x the refresh rate. I think its a great improvement. Sadly I havent seen any 2012 on displays yet, but there are already on store for sale.

It is a dual core procession, like a computer. It speeds up your access to the internet and the applications run faster. As to what I have read, it does nothing as to making a difference in PQ.
