What type of glue to use on magnetic grill guides

I have these magnets http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=329-045

I'm using them to hold down something like these covers. These are not my photos but I'm basing my designs off them.

The magnets will be covered with cloth. One magnet fixed into the column to match with the other magnet in the frame. There will be four pairs of magnets (8 total magnets). Two pairs between the rear wall and the frame and two on the "floor" of the cutout and the bottom of the frame.

My question is, what is an appropriate glue to use to hold the magnets in place within the wood they are going into? Will wood glue work fine?

Any comments appreciated. Thanks.

I used gorilla instant bond glue for wood. Has rubber filler in it which gives some.

Check out my DIY masking in my signature thread for my magnets.

Ever any issues with the glue not holding?

Realistically they won' be moved very often. So long term I don't see a problem.

I just did this 4 days ago for my IB sub grille cover, epoxy worked fine.

Spread some epoxy in the hole, popped the magnet in flush, done and holds terrific.

also used epoxy on an older sub whose retention dogs broke, epoxy has been on those 2 years and no problem. Those have been of quite a few times as I've moved that sub around, use it outside for backyard movie nite, etc.

Will magnets be enough to keep if from rattling when the subs are working?

What's a good brand of epoxy? The gorilla glue?

Any of the generic epoxy would be fine. Wood glue would also work. As would silicone or hot glue.
