Ok,I currently have a samsung BD-D6700 blu ray player and have had nothing but issues with it,freezes up at times,screen goes snowy at times,and not to mention streaming netflix or others,I often get the picture going black for a split second,and happens often,the software is up to date with the 1006.2 version.Im getting rid of it,but need to know from you guys which you would recommend to compliment my Samsung PN64D8000 TV and Yamaha RX-V671 receiver?I like the 2d-3d conversion and viewing video format settings that the d6700 offers that allows you to use different settings with non hd content to remove the black bars.ANY suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Get a ps3 and be done with it, never had a problem with mine. Never freezes, streams netflix good, good upconversion, plays every bluray I throw at it with no problems. Plus gaming 1080p,3D etc.

I want to stay with a blu ray 3d player for conveniency,I already have an xbox 360 in the household,any ideas????

Than look at the panasonic DMP-BDT210. It has very good reviews or wait for the 2012 models to come out, should be soon.

Amazon.com has the 2012 Panasonic 3D Blu-Ray Players. the 220 and 320.

I will second what Latinoheat said. If you game at all, why not get the PS3 as well? Excellent 3D blu ray player and you also get to play the good games exlcusive to only the PS3. It is a no-brainer to me.....plus you get a hard drive and a better product to stream netflix, vudu, etc....

BTW, I am also using a similar Yamaha receiver that I run everything through and then out to the tv. No issues at all. For the money spent, I don't think you can get a better overall bang for the buck than with the PS3.

decisions decisions,UGH.Well,As I said,we already have an Xbox 360,And done want to have to use a controller to operate the fuctions for blu ray,I understand where you guys are coming from,but Id rather get a decent player with remote and no gaming,I may just hold off to see what comes out new.Also,I like to have to intercompatibility of products with my samsung TV,thats why I went with a Samsung blu ray.I do appreciate the inputs from everyone,but hopefully this makes more sense.

These panasonics have direct source capabilities? I will soon be running a Lumagen, and want to forgoe any scaling.

I may just try the Samsung BD-D6500 instead of another D7600 and buy it from a vendor that has a good return policy,maybe I just got a bad batch of the D6700,if all fails then ill give the Panasonics a try
