I ordered a Sony KDL-55HX750 from Dell on black friday and they have now pushed the delivery date back twice on the TV... it went from the 30th, to the 5th, and now to the 18th of December.
Major problem here is that my family leaves for vacation from California to Massachusetts on the 22nd, so that is just cutting it WAY too close
I have not even received an e-mail or call from Dell letting me know the order was pushed back... and when i log into the site it says that the FCC demands that they speak with me to confirm letting the order sit on hold or they must cancel it.
Why have they not tried to contact me yet???
I was debating the LM7600 vs the HX750 and decided to go with the Sony... I am a hardcore gamer and both sets appear to be good for gaming from what i've read, but the screen uniformity/bleeding/flashlighting of the LG is what scared me over to the Sony camp.
Now i just don't know what i'm gonna do... i am not happy about this at all.
Considering calling Dell to demand a price match on the LG since it appears to be readily available.
Most of the other decent TVs are either out of stock or way over priced.
