Does anyone game in 3d on their LM7600? how do you get tridef to work properly?

The manual says this TV supports 1080p line interlaced 3d mode but when I set it to that I can't get it to focus. It's always a little bit off so that something in the foreground or background is out of focus.

Well it looks like LG must be admitting that there is a problem with latest firmware because the Tech is here, he just changed out my mainboard, and it is forcing an update of the software, however it told him the latest version avail for download is 4.31.30, not the 4.31.31 that screwed up my TV originally. I'll update everyone once all testing is completed.

Ah ha! That's telling! That sounds as if LG has pulled a release. If this is so, I wonder if the LG Televisions in the world will "know" to back-rev.

Well, happy to inform that my 47LM7600 is back to it's perfect operating behavior... all smart features working again and menu's aren't lagging anymore.

Has anyone been able to get this TV to work properly with a FiOS Remote? I have the Verizon P265 remote and I can get volume controls to work, but the input switching is funky. I can bring up the input selection screen and highlight the inputs when I press the input button, but I have no way to actually select the input I want. Any suggestions?

Same deal with my Time Warner remote.

I figured out how to get it to work with my remote. Instead of stopping on the first code that my TV registered, I kept going and stopped on the second code. Now when I press the input button it cycles between the inputs. Hope this helps you as I spent a lot of time trying to get this to work.
Did you happen to catch the code? My remote was pre-programmed for another LG TV. The old code worked for On/Off, volume. I'll try to search for some other codes and try them and dig into my remote manual. I don't think mine cycles through codes.

The code I started with was 210, and just worked my way up from there. I didn't go more than 7/8 clicks max, so maybe try anything in the range from 210-218

No, and that's what has made me most unhappy about this whole situation. Not that plex and LG had a compatibility issue, but that once you've entered a wifi network, the only way to prevent the TV from connecting up is either changing the password on the router (ok, I guess you could also block the MAC from the router, but Joe Consumer won't know that for the most part) or resetting the settings on the TV to make it forget EVERYTHING, which is a drag.

Since I did the reset at LGs request, I haven't setup the wifi. If I really need to, I'll connect Ethernet, or for FW updates, I'll just use USB.

The .30 is what's on my TV when it started having the issue. If .31 was official, I never saw it. I told it to look for updates before I disconnected from wifi and it said it didn't find anything new.

FYI, new Plex server update is out, which the Plex Server's updater will find. This is mentioned in the notes...

"Last, but not least, there’s a new Plex Media Server release, which addresses some issues, including a reboot problem with LG TVs. We’ve spoken with LG, and they say a firmware update is coming which will fix the bug, but we have a workaround for you in the meantime. "

Does this solve all of the rebooting problems that people are seeing?

Does anybody know why this causes the TV to reboot? SJ

Is there anyway to connect the LG to your Mac computer in order to file video files. I see instructions on Windows PC but nothing for Macs.

Wall mounted

Service technician just called me and told me they are unable to get a replacement panel at the moment...!? They said they were told they are unavailable and currently on back order and that i should call LG and find out why. Ugh.

Hello fellow consumers,
I just bought this TV like 3 weeks ago and tested it with every option available to get the best possible picture.
And everything functions perfectly except that truemotion stutters randomly (like the CPU can't keep up with the motions).
No matter what setting it's on.

By the way, I have another 32" LG and trumotion functions as it should.
The cheapest I could buy this was at 2200$, lets just say at such a price I want everything to work well...

Does anyone else have this issue, is it normal for this model ?

Regarding the reflective screen, I prefer a matte finish but it seems like all TVs are glossy these days. If you're mounting the TV, it's helpful to mount it a little high, then angle it down. That way it doesn't pick up as much reflection from lights and windows.

I have been using 58" plasma for two years....SAMSUNG C8000 series ....bought it for $2500 + $500 for BB protection and tax...Great TV loved it....1 year back my son threw his hot wheels car on the screen...there goes my beautiful tv to garage....BB didn't cover it mad.gif...technician told spider crack shows impact damage...ok fine...went to BB and got prorated protection plan amount back...then bought an Epson 3010 3D 1080p projector...wow...BIG screen.... loved watching BD movies on big screen....3D was great...its really 3D unlike watching on small screens......any way after 1 year of projector watching finally decided to buy a small tv....so that i can watch regular tv shows and movies on netflix over TV...wanted to reserve projector with 7.1 speaker system for weekend movie time..
first bought 32" vizio E series...good picture quality...BAD apps widget...outdated netflix interface....also 32" was too small....actually i kept the tV above my Samsung refrigerator in the kitchen rolleyes.gif...finally i returned the unit after one week....decided to try samsung...bought 46" 6100 series...excellent PQ.....Okay apps...loading time really slow.....samsung smart hub mostly down...undergoing the regular maintenance mad.gif..off-angle viewing VERY POOR....went to BB and saw LG 6700 series...actually I really liked magic motion remote...thats a big leap from the regular remote as I was planning to use netflix, vudu and hulu more the wii type remote would be really helpful....returned samsung and bought 47" 6700 LG . (Sep 2012 make)....PQ was really good...apps loading super fast compared to samsung....wow... WII type remote is perfect for using apps ...excellent! unfortunately resolution was poor....blurring...bad light leak near upper left hand corner......finally decided to buy 7600 series as cnet gave a decent rating....received my tv yesterday......again Sep 2012 make....so far REALLY HAPPY...minimal flashlight issue.....absolutely love PQ....color absolutely gorgeous...i think better than samsung...decent black level....not close to my old plasma though...deblur option helps to minimize blur I think...any way planning to keep this TV.....TV is sitting on the Sammy refrigerator biggrin.gif..hope nothing breaks...
Will post pictures of both 6700 and 7600 soon....
Forgot...BB had 8600 series online for $30 cheaper than 7600 series...eek.gif........but sales associate told it may take 3 weeks to get the set...also he wasn't 100% sure......checked BB website today... 8600 series not available... luckily I decided to get 7600 series....otherwise it would have been another trip to BB biggrin.gif

I love the epic film montage sequences that show up now and then like this. It actually is helpful to see someone else's thought process over several real-life evaluations.

New firmware 4.31.43.

Does LG provide official release notes for each new firmware update? I haven't been able to find any.

I think this kind of thing is common as new products phase in across all industries. A manufacturer is trying to prioritize the balance between supplying the older panels and introducing the new ones. Some older models persist and are manufactured for a long time. Some >poof< out of sight. Replacement parts are part of that hiccup.

OK, everyone try the new firmware and report back. Then maybe I'll try it. smile.gif

Don't see any differences yet.

Its weird, i called LG today and they said that the panel is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, but i called the local service center and they looked it up and said absolutely not there is no ETA whatsoever... so we'll see what happens i guess *shrug*

Any updates on changing the audio language when streaming a movie?? Mine still appears greyed out. And I would like to know if there is a way to watch the movies in plex in 24p.

In the xxLM7200 forum (I believe this model is *only* for their november released 60"), they were able to completely remove the corner flashlighting by pressing on the screen. They all heard it "snap" into place, and the picture was perfect.

However, that beast is an oddity: it has a raised bezel a mm or 2 over the facing plate of the screen. This means that pressing on the screen is not pressing on the bezel.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the rest of the LM series seems to have the bezel under the facing glass like most of the mid-high range panasonics/samsungs/sonys, no? This might prevent you from doing that same trick, because the bezel&chassis would "hold it up".

Wrong. Same bezel.
