Panasonic TC-P42ST30 $699 at BB

Just got back from my two local BB. 699 is confirmed, however they only had a display model so i checked out another BB and they had a brand new one for 626. Awesome deal if you ask me!

It won't show up online as it pretty much just says its not available. You're gonna have to go out and check your local BB/ or call them to see what inventory is left over they are going pretty quickly took me 3 locations to find 1 new one.

How did you get the price down to 626? I picked one up from BB a few weeks ago at 799, and I just got 100 back because of this thread (thanks to the original poster)

This isn't really that good a deal.
the 50 inch was as low as $729 at one point.
This is all more the case now, with the ST30 being trumped entirely by the ST50.
I wouldn't recommend buying this at all.

If someone can only fit a 42" then it is a good deal. Especially since the new ST50 will not be made in 42", only the UT50 where you do not get the AR coating.

Agreed this was the only reason I grabbed the 42ST30 my room wall doesn't allow for more than 51 inches. I didn't want to grab the 50 and have to get a new wall mount as well. If they did make the ST50 in 42 I'd grab that saw both the ST50 and UT50 at frys earlier that day and the ST50 DEFINITELY impressed while the UT50 still impressed but next to the ST30 you could see the diff with the filter.


I had no clue, just walked in expecting to see it for 699 but they just had it priced at 626. The guy told me it was the last NIB he knew around this area.
