I have had consistent problems since upgrading to eyetv 3. whereas I had very few using 2.x . I upgraded so I could use the net tv product but I still have an eyetv diversity.
there are two problems I experience. when editing the eyetv files the edits get screwed up. sections edited jump around at random. also sometimes audio gets out of sync with the video. and sections of the video develop weird frame rates., almost as if your processor can't run the video through lack of grunt but no problems there I'm running a recent model macbookpro. (running lion but same issue under snow leopard).
when exporting I get similar issues even if the eyetv file I'm exporting from does not have any issues.
i record a lot of tv so this is driving me nuts. I can't reliably count on eyetv to record quality or export properly anymore.
