Picture is shifted to the right

I have 2 devices.
- The first device has dvi-d (single) output socket. (female)
- The second device has hdmi input socket.

I've bought dvi2hdmi adapter

The problem is that image is shifted to the right for ~20-25px, and also there is vertical black bar at the left.

Where could be the problem - dvi2gdmi adapter or first device?

A DVI to HDMI adapter is incapable of changing the picture like that. All the adapter does is change the physical layout of the wires. The same video signals are carried through, just with a different plug. Your problem is that either the first device is outputting the video with the black bar there, or the second device doesn't like the format of the video being output (resolution, refresh rate, etc.) and as a result is not displaying it correctly.

If i connect instead the first device BlueRay player with hdmi output - all fine.
Also if i connect the first device with Monitor (with DVI cable) - all fine too.

So where is problem?

PS. First device, output dvi-d video spec: 1080p\\60Hz
PPS. The second device, Input HDMI resolutions: 480p (60 Hz), 576p (50 Hz), 720p (50/60 Hz), 1080i (50/60 Hz), 1080p (50/60 Hz)
