This is not really a problem, I'm just trying to further my understanding of how this stuff works.
I have a Mitsubishi HC3800 and it needs a couple of keystone clicks to square up the picture from my DirecTV DVR. Works fine. But when I put up the HC3800's internal crosshair test pattern, I have a pretty severe trapezoid, even though my DVR projects a perfectly square picture.
Why would the geometry be different between an internal test pattern and the DVR?
Thanks!!
