Screen paint for an Optoma HD 33

Hello. I am looking for the best screen paint for my projector. I have an hvlp and will be spraying directly onto a wall. I am currently using a cheap favi 120" pulldown screen. The image quality is pretty good but I believe it could be a lot better. My room setup is fairly dark. I have black ceiling to floor length curtains on the left separating my Living/family room. On the screen wall and right wall 2/3 of it is painted flat black with chair rail and a dark blue as the bottom third. The ceiling is flat black also. I am projecting through a wall opening and can adjust my throw distance as much as needed. I am thinking of going up to a 140" screen or so. I use the projector for movie watching and gaming. I also watch a pretty decent amount of 3d content. i appreciate any help that is offered.

P.S. During the day I get a moderate amount of ambient light.

Are you saying you use this during the day with ambient light? If not, then I would stick with a good white screen for that environment. If you aren't satisfied with the brightness, then you will have to start looking at a high gain screen. Your options are more limited at that point.

Your welcome. Your 3D usage will demand as much gain as you can get without getting whammy-ed by the adverse aspects of "High Gain'

My suggestion of RS-MaxxMudd fits that bill. RS-MaxxMudd LL (Low Lumens) is the other "best case" alternative, for that would be a screen that is almost White-ish Silver, and that would easily handle 140" diagonal on Low Lamp, while just as easily providing more than sufficient gain for 3D content, something that all current PJs switch to "Normal" or High" Lamp output for.
