Bought tv with 2D-3D Conversion: do I still need bluray 3d?

Hello everyone,

3D Noob here. I Just bought the LG LM7600 with 2D-3D Conversion. Do I still need to buy a 3D blu ray player, or will I be able to watch a 3D blu ray disc using my current blu ray player and convert it to 3D on my TV?

Real-time 2D-to-3D conversion is about 1/4 as good as true native 3D. At best.

If you want to watch native 3D discs, you will need a 3D Blu-ray player. All your TV can do is run 2D content through a filter that simulates 3D.
