Quick question

What enhance details does?
Edge enhance adds extra info to the edges. But is hard to see the changes when setting details enhancent. Not sure what it does.

Um, can somebody please summarize what all different Motion Flow settings are doing?

I have all those settings (Using Standard atm), but absolutely no idea what they mean. Standard looks fine though, even if there's still some judder while panning. With Smooth, there are no judders anymore...

My advise Booker is to leave edge enhancement off. It does nothing worth having it on.

It seems to me that after altering certain things in my settings that the PQ will lose a bit and then will eventually settle and then look great.

Is it my mind playing tricks on me?
I mentioned that a while back when I first got my 55HX750. Sometimes the picture didn't look as good. I really noticed it with the sharpness and color of the "info banner" from my cable box. When the picture quality of the TV didn't look as good as the night before, when I changed channels or otherwise brought the cable box's info banner up, it would appear that the banner's blue background wasn't as deep/rich/blue, and the text looked blurry.

Lately I haven't seen the issue.

It might have been a cable box or cable signal problem, BUT I never saw that issue with my 46XBR6 and the same box and wires. (the HX750 was a "drop in" replacement for the family room's 46XBR6 which has moved down in the basement)

It's weird right....

If you're seeing it on the info banner then something has to be off I would think.

To me, it really seems as if PQ lacks sometimes after I make some sort of change to the settings. Not changing the scene select but something in the settings.... like the next day it wont as sharp and I'll see more boxey looking stuff in some of the blacks.

I'm thinking I should just leave my settings alone from now on. lol

What do you have enable and what setting on the advance menu?

I know the ideal is to leave everyhting off to get the original picture BUT, Setting contrast enhancement at low, it helps a LOT with blacks, since i believe it low the edge leds more than with an off setting.

I´m wondering what others settings i should use?

I´m going back and forth with the rest of the settings.

What are you using?

One thing is for sure, i´ll leave Contrast Ehnancement at low since, like i said i want to do use of the led dimming.

I have the "Black Corrector" setting set to medium on my tv and it helps making the blacks even better. Give it a try booker and see if you like it.
