Got an offer from Sony regarding this set for my failing SXRD 60A2020 , was offered the 55HX750 ( tried to get them to offer a 65" HX but they couldnt or wouldnt ? ) other than a couple of articles from CES and info from the sonystyle website haven't found much info on it .

Anyone know what's the difference between the HX850's local dimming and the HX750's Frame dimming ??

I see they both have the newer 4x speed panels for 3D hopefully that eliminates the crosstalk problems I've read about on here when it came to there 2011 models .

Here's a link to the sonystyle site for the HX750

Hi everyone,

I would like to have opinion about problem i have with Sony HX750 (40 inch) i purchased recently. During watching DVDs in dark room I found the panel have some white lights in two or three corners, they are visible only with dark image like when the movie started or when watching 2.35.1 aspect ratio that have black bars on top and bottom and the room is completely dark. These white lights are not strong, with normal light room they are not noticeable but only by close examination. As far I know the panel should be completely dark when there is dark image, alson i have other Sony EX650 (32 inch) which does not this problem.

May I ask is this problem normal or I should replace my HX750?
Can anyone help please. Thank you.
