Electronics Expo has the Mits HC4000 for $999. You have to add it to your cart to see the reduced price. $20 standard shipping.

FYI for everyone. They are OOS as of 20 March, but I called and they are expecting stock in 2-3 weeks. The phone rep wouldn't say if they would be offering the same price or not. I'm waiting. $900 is a lot cheaper than the going rate of $1,100+

Just called electronic expo to see when/if they would have this for 999 again. Its currently 1298.00 on the website. they gave it to me for $1044.00 + 19.99 shipping = $1064

not bad and about 75 cheaper than anyone on the net currently.

Thats a good price I just ordered the Epson 8350 from them for about the same price but if I get a lemon I will probably do an exchange for the HC4000.

Ya well just got an email from them saying they canceled my order because I didnt pass there " info verification system". I have no idea what that means but they took my money out of my checking account and say I will get it back within 10 days.
If I did not meet their verification requirements than why did they take my money?

I will call VisualApex or projector people once I get my money back. I am sure they will match the price.

Usually its because the phone # or address you provided doesn't match the bank records exactly. I had that happen when I tried to order a refurb Epson 6500UB, which have been extremely limited in availability from the Epson Store. My order was cancelled without any warning and of course, it was out of stock. I called and it turned out I gave them my home phone, but my bank has my cell phone listed as primary #. Yep, they had a hold on my card , but it cleared after 3 days. Luckily for me, I found another one available on the website the next day and snatched it, made sure the phone number was correct and it went through.

That is exactly the reason why I don't make major internet purchases using my debit card. I've had too many 'holds', etc.

Ya your probably right on that one.
Just for the record the money went back into my account within two days so all is well. Its just they had my phone number why didnt they just call me too sort it out instead of just canceling the order three days after, via email.
Man you lucked out on that 6500UB, that was a good deal which I should of pulled the trigger on.
