I've used as source the Pioneer BDP-LX91, and the original Casino Royale Blu Ray disc.
But the JVC DLA-X90 was not calibrated, was factory standard...
Can that be eliminated?

To make we are talking apples to apples, a time stamp is the best way to verify that we are viewing the same scene/image.

Hi Kevin

Here at AVS there is a thread that shows the best calibration patterns right?

I will also need a little help calibrating the Projector for my old technology, Laserdisc.

Will it upconvert the Laserdisc to 4k also? Will the internal processor of the JVC be good or should a buy a video processor to receive the signal from Laserdisc and then connect the video processor to the projector?

Dalite JKP .8 gain screen or JKP 1.1 gain would go well with your projector.
