Call me an optimist, but I'll trust the user manual on the acer site until I see a review of the unit that proves otherwise cool.gif

the manual from the the manufacturer say 1080p,so I wonder, which one to trust?

The Chinese website I found has it at 1080 P.
Has 2 HDMI ports.
No news of yet if it is compatible with 3D.

Now ? can we say that this is the year that we finally see a real LED projector that can play at real HD in 1080 P ?

Is this the game changer year ?
Is this the breakthrough year for LED projectors ?

But at what price ?

Here is the manual
http://www.manualowl.com/m/Acer%20Computers/K750/Manual/288359
It is native 1080p, no 3D (only 85Hz vertical scan rate)

If you look at the measurements, it has maximum brightness at 1289 lumens but ANSI brightness (I am presuming this means calibrated) at only 453 lumens. Unless Google translate is doing me a disservice, thats a considerable drop for accurate colour.

for me the projector has one big problem already sharing with the casio hybrids. if you look at the pictures from the chines review theres no real blue color. everything looks purplish. maybe in contrary to casio the projector provides a large setting range to adjust that.

Just gone mine, I will write a whole review in the coming days smile.gif

thanks

I own a Casio; If these create annoying rainbows like the Casios then I will have to skip this one; 2,255.06 USD is too much for a rainbow creating machine.

Forget the Casio Hybrid, there is nothing to compare between the K750 wich is a really good home cinema projector and the bad picture of the Casio !

For the moment it's really a good surprise, the ACER K750 can produce very good blacks without using any artificial device like the D.I., you can fin a dedicate RGB adjustment option in the menu and also a CMS in 3 dimensions (this is a huge improvment after the H9500BD). When you switch on the projector, you are able to have the picture after one second.

Here the first pics of the picture menu, the CMS, and the RGB balance :
