Awesome. I can't even find that model on their website

Do note that is the D series not the new E series. The pn51E8000 is listed "On Sale" for about 10% under the Full MSRP. Not too surprising to see that they are clearing out the old stock.

Frys Electronics had that same TV for $699....3 weeks ago

Other buys were the 59D7000 for $999..64D8000 for $1299( which I bought)

They had a a major blowout..in store only..on their remaining 2011 models

For what it's worth, Future Shop here in Canada has dropped the price of the 51E8000 to $1899. $100-300 less than the 50GT50 and $1100 less than the 55VT50. Still between $400-600 more than the 50ST50.

I know there's still not much to be had at retail on these with UPP pricing, but I was scouring for some kind of discount and stumbled across Amazon's Used deals for the PN60E7000 series specifically has some rather interesting pricing. $1211 for an "acceptable" condition set, and up to $1295 for "Like New". This is significantly lower than even their other Used model pricing for some of the lesser sets, like the 6500 and E550. With that being a $700+ discount off UPP, I've decided to take a risk and go for it. Here's to hoping it wasn't returned for buzzing, pixels, or anything else obnoxious. I noticed the Sammy warranty basically is invalid on a used unit purchase through Amazon, but they offer their 30 day guarantee, and you can add 12 additional months of Square Trade warranty for $45. I added this to the purchase for extra peace of mind.

I will update after I receive and have a time to watch it.

Best Buy has the 51 for 899.99 now, I believe it's a web only price. If I don't order tonight, I probably will in the morning.

I just checked bb and it still shows 1199.00 for the 51 inch pne8000

Amazon price was at 1500 plus lol for a new one

Yea, I tried to order it, but it wouldn't let me ship to my house or a local store. I think it was an error or I jumped too late. It was one of those "See price in cart" deals.

Glad I couldn't, just copped a 50GT50 from BB. Much better TV from everything I saw and for only $200 more.

I just purchased an 51E8000 a coupon of days ago...display unit with all the accessories

They marked it down...then there was 10% off open box coupon...and I had $65.00 in reward zone points

all total..I got the TV for $578 and bought the 4 year service plan for $150....

Got 18 months same as cash and will get 2% back in reward zone credit for future purposes
