advice for inexpensive projector for tv,dvd and ps3

Can anybody advise me on a decent projector for around £300. I want to watch tv (mainly sport), DVD and PlayStation 3 plus hook up a speaker system to it. Also what screen size could I expect from a 11 feet (3.3m) throw? Are projectors for this cost going to be too noisy and of poor quality? Many thanks

I think you should look at one of the clones, Acerk330, Optoma ML500, Viewsonic PLED-W500. If you want traditional bulb how about the Epson EX5200

thanks, sorry I know quite little. What's the difference with traditional bulbs and which are the most expensive. Also do you know how large I cam expect the image to be? I'm projecting on to a white wall. Manu thanks

Well traditional bulbs have a life of around 2500-4000 hours when LED bulbs have a life of around 25000-30000 hours but are not as bright in most cases. As far as screen size goes it really depends on the throw ration of the pj you get. The Optoma ML500 will make a 105" image at 10.5 feet. If you find a pj you like look it up on google then go to the projector central link and they will have a throw ratio calculator for that projector. Also when you find pjs you like look up reviews and videos on youtube that will help you decide. The white wall will be ok as long as its not shinny and is not rough. I highly suggest making or buying a screen though.
