KMPlayer now has 3d support

This is my favorite video player because of the options and because it's the only one that can display 2 sets of subtitles at once without making you want to kill yourself. It's useful for when I'm watching a movie in Japanese and my wife and I want subtitles in our native languages, English and Spanish.

Today they released the latest update that supports 3d. My HTPC isn't ready yet, so I can't test it out. I'd like to know what you guys think when you get the chance.

I haven't heard of this player. Does it playback HD Audio nativelly or have the ability to swap codecs so LAV can be used?

It has built in codecs, but you can also use external ones. It also has built in LAV filters as well.

No worries! I've got MB MPC-HC, JRiver and XBMC to play with right now and am not needing another player. That said, what's to say MPC-HC isn't loading rouge code? It is from Russia isn't it?

MPC-HC is open source, you can go check it yourself.
Also, its not "russian". It has some russian developers, but also people from other countries are working on it.

KMPlayer is not open, at all.

It seem to cause no problems on my system and I like it a lot! And thanks again for all your hard work on LAV!

I am sorry if anyone got spyware because of this. All of that can be unselected. It's Korean by the way. I still don't know of any alternative to display 2 subtitles at once.

must be made by North Korean

I've been trying KMPlayer for a few days and was almost knocked off my chair to see English subtitles displayed with one of my HD .ts files the first time I tried it. YAY!

VLC has been quite disappointing for me in this regard. I love it otherwise..

KMP looks to be extremely complicated [if you want it to be biggrin.gif] but my .ts CCs are FINALLY working.

And they're actually in synch by default, whereas with PowerDVD they're all over the place!
