Guys,

Where has Pro Theatre Layout Service Gone from av science.

Regards

That's going to be a disappointment if it's no longer available. I was planning to use that, although it was going to be a while before I got around to it. Way too early in my build for it, now.

That would be too bad if it goes away. I was very happy with the service and the $. Pretty sure I was one of the first to sign up for it. Just wish it didn't take me 1.5 years to start putting the plans into production...

It is still available. I just spoke to rose Anne who handles all the communication with the erskine group. I am sending my info in soon. I also spoke with Shawn Byrne about it and he said it is just a problem with the site and not to worry. He is still very busy with this service.
Not to worry! It is alive and well! . In the interim contact Rose Anne at RoseAnne@erskine-group.com directly. Thanks!

Pro Theater Layout Service remains at $600 for existing rooms. As a reminder, the layout service was not intended to be a design, but to maximize the sonic and visual performance of existing rooms. Additional design and consulting services are available. Make sure you indicate you are looking into the Pro Theater Layout Service. Contact me if you have any further issues. My email addresses are in the link provided in my signature.

I'm looking to build a theater room in an unfinished basement. While my focus is on the theater room, other rooms will be built (bathroom, etc.) and appliances (washer/dryer) likely moved around. What service(s) do you offer that cover this?

Thanks,
61

Lots of confused folks out there lately I've noticed, so wanted to invite the new folks to check out the AVS Pro Layout service.
Why is the layout service thread no longer a sticky?
That is a really good question. I have no idea. smile.gif

I hate to bring up an old thread, but I was trying to find this service.

The links to AVS for the "Pro Theatre layout" all seem to be dead. Has the offering changed, or ended?
Yes.

I will let those in the know fill in the details though.
Too bad if it's gone. Really helped me a lot.

No i am guessing that is the new service offered by Av Science but i am not sure. Both have similar offerings looks like. Someone else can Confirm.

AVS switched vendors for design services. Basic services will now cost more. The original basic design service is still available from the Erskine group. Just not through AVS. Contact Shawn or Dennis. From what I can tell it was an economic decision made by the new owners of the forum. I may get banned for saying that.
