Best projector for gaming...upgrading from HC1500

My last projector was the Mits HC1500 which I loved. Gaming and movies were great on it. I plan to spend under 2k. What would be the best choice projector for gaming?

The HC1500 is still good. I am wondering will I see a big difference with todays projectors vs it.

Epson 8350 for 2D (~$1200) or the Optima H33 for 3D (~$1400)

Benq w6000 is better than both for gaming and has a better image, or the Optoma hd33 if you want 3D.
