Are LG plasmas even 'in the running'? - Page 3

I have two LGs, a 50" PA6500 (14 months now) and a 60" PA5500 (2 months). Me being cheap, I bought the first one because it was available at an unbelievable price compared to other name-brand sets in the store. My second LG was brand loyalty, along with the good price. Like a previous poster stated above, the consumer reviews are consistently good for the PA6500/5500 models and I can vouch for that as well. I do think LG made a bad move removing a hdmi input for the 2013 PN6500 model.

Our local "discount" type store received a truckload of electronics from a closed best buy. Most of the tvs sold but they have about 20 new in box, 60" PA5500's for only $499. I considered it but there isn't much info on these from a professional review standpoint. Plus they have been sitting there for like a month, why hasn't anyone bought them, they know something I don't?

For $499, that is a tremendous bargain. Most stores have sold it at $799 and $899, and Fry's may have had it at $699. It is a nice TV with same specs as the 6500. I would jump on that.

$499

That is the deal of the century. Jump on it.
