I just purchased a Samsung pn60e6500. Great TV, minor buzz. I used the cnet calibration settings by David K.
I was wondering if anyone was successful in running the PC input name trick while playing video games? After you change the input name to 'PC', do you still turn game mode on to give the game some extra brightness, or do you just leave the normal 'Movie' mode settings that you would use for watching TV?
Any updated calibration settings for TV viewing, or even for playing games (if different) would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
I'm a noob when it comes to tv's, as I am just a humble accountant. Thankfully, I can follow instructions if I can find them.

Tonight, after few months it started to buzz. Maybe it's just a coincidence but it happened after i finally connected my cable tv decoder and internet to TV set. It happened when i was watching smart tv content, probably Experience 3D or sth like that (app with 3d demos). I had even some strange error and instead of having 3D picture i got vertical green lines and some flashes of actual picture between them (problem disapeared after restart).
