Since I had my ultra woofer out to check on clearances for science and such, I figured I'd take some pics and vid with the wife's awesome camera.

So, here is a gallery with 24mp pics of one of these as well as some HD(1080p) video.

Nonyt, are the fp14000s forced air? Can you hear them? Based on your setup changes over time I'm guessing you got one for each woofer enclosure?

One per enclosure, yes you can hear them, with fan replacements, they're pretty quiet and not noticeable unless the room is dead silent. You will hear everything in my room, since its treated and there aren't many noise sources.

Gotcha. Man, that's a huge investment in low frequency! May I ask what you did to eliminate resonance in your heat exchangers?

Installed them myself and tightened the sh!t out of everything. The annoying bit was the window springs. Pulled those out and stuffed em in a closet =]

I can imagine! Those things vibrate like no other. Windows and heat exchangers are my big issues. Tile also, ugh. Did you hear noticeable improvements after you put up your wall treatments? I'm thinking of using floor to ceiling drapes.

treatments made a huge difference. The room used to ring like crazy.

Drapes will not replace well designed and positioned acoustic treatments.

I think it's just monoprice 10 gauge wire. Might have come from parts express. I don't remember. It's copper 10 gauge wire, as long as its not crap wire, it will do the job just fine. If anyone tells you otherwise, they're being silly.

I used it for the runs from my amps as well, so I'll go take a look when I go into there later.
