I have an Onkyo 8050 Stereo Receiver. I'm adding a subwoofer to my current setup which are A/D/S M9 (early 90's) speakers. They are floor standing, but on the smaller side, and could use some extra bass.

When I add the sub, how do I calibrate it correctly, as the receiver has no "room correction" feature. Do I just do it by what "sounds good" to me, then use the tone control?

Last, Im looking at the Energy S10.3 ... is that a good music sub?

Thanks!
