Hey all just to let you know BB has listed the 65vt50 on there website,but listed it as coming soon.Anyone have any idea of when there going to start to sell it?

An update .. My 65VT50 purchase, via EPP was shipped out on 05/07. Factor in 7-10 days. Shipped out of Anaheim, CA.

All plasmas buzz but I have notice the least (or none) with my panny 65VT30. I also own a sammy 59D8000 and it buzzes just as much as LG (I've owned a 60PK550) but nothing crazy as I experienced with a 64D8000 I got while I was deciding in between 65VT30 and 64D8000. Hope this helps.

My 65VT50 is being delivered tomorrow morning, I will post some photos and info on any buzzing (really hoping it is silent!).

I originally ordered the set from Panasonic direct but as soon as I saw Amazon had them in stock I canceled my order with Panasonic and ordered from Amazon for their return policy. Best part is Panasonic had already shipped my free talk camera when I canceled my order and since they ring up as separate order numbers I got the camera for $2.11 lol. Thanks Panasonic! :P

I returned my Samsung D7000 in favor of a Panasonic Plasma. The Samsung came as a package with the blu-ray player and a set of 3D glasses that were not inside one whole box. They rung up the Blu-ray and glasses for a very low price in order to build the package into the final deal price. When I told the reseller I would keep the Blu-ray and just return the TV and glasses they said I would have to return the whole package or they would not be able to issue me a refund for the package or they would have to charge me full price for the Blu-ray so I would recommend that you contact Panasonic just so you don't end up with any hiccups or surprises. But congrats, that should be an amazing experience when you receive your TV.

Yeah I though about that but literally on my credit card I was charged the almost 4 grand for the TV including tax then on a separate order and transaction on my card was charged $2.11 for the camera. I called and canceled the TV order (order 1) and then got an email that the camera had shipped (order 2). I even waited until the the TV transaction that was at pending on my card disappeared before opening the camera box up just in case. Honestly there is nothing they can do, I already got a full refund and the $2.11 camera transaction was completed. Its their fault for ringing up the "free camera" as a separate order...

Got my 65VT50 today, will take some photos and compare it to the ES8000 I still have from Samsung. So far I like vivid the best from the standard settings, THX bright room looks washed out to me but thats just my opinion.

Just received my 65VT50 .. Found stuck pixel..
Thx cinema and bright modes.. Look ok ..

My comparisons to the 64E8000.
Out of box performance on the Samsung e8000 blows away the VT50.
The VT50 is a panel that needs to be calibrated.
Black level are very deep ..
Colors are above average.

Reminds me of my kuro .. Will continue to run break in slides

I definitely agree about bright room but thx cinema is by far the best out of the box to me.

Mate do you mind if I ask your opinion on how big the difference in PQ is between the vt50 and e8000 ? Is it noticeably better by eye mainly interested in watching blu ray films also are the blacks and brightness much better
Worth the extra coin for the difference ???

The overall PQ is very similar.
Out of BOX performance (without tweaking) the Samsung E8000 on movie mode is almost perfect.
The VT50 needs alot of tweaking, However, Picture is stellar once you get it there. Black levels are slightly better on the VT50.
Both panels are plenty bright enough.
The E8000 has no DSE whatsoever. The VT50 does. It doesn't bother me because i'm used to it with my Kuro 111fd.

If money is a factor then I would go with E8000 or GT50.
I just hate that spider stand on the samsung! ugly.

Samsungs still have the brightness pops and new for 2012 is the blanking in between shots thing going on. I don't have my 2011 64D800 cause of the pops.

I didnt experience any blanking in between shots with the panel I had.
However, Samsungs quality Control is very spotty.
It maybe a variation from panel to panel.
